Goals: Another Adventure is here. Perci hopes that the Mansion can quench her thirst for adventure (as well as give her a cool place to crash).
Personality: A bit of an odd ball, Perci tries to keep things light-hearted. She loves going places she's not allowed to and teasing other guests. Don't be surprised to find little traps around her, pranks, jokes, and gags are her favorite. Hoarding, or as she calls it "collecting", is her most noticeable hobby and her nest is cluttered with things from jewelry to tin cans. Normally Perci likes to be as, ahem, 'free' as she can be, but tries her best to cover the goods in public. She enjoys sleeping wherever she pleases, the higher up the better. Shyness is not in her vocabulary, so don't be afraid to say hi!

History:

The crack of an arrow hitting the tree startled the Harpies. They screeched and stood up, searching for the danger. Another arrow whizzed by Perci, barely missing its mark. She scrambled up higher in the tree, closer to her sisters who were stretching their wings and beginning to take flight. One sister laid slumped on a branch, not moving. Anger boiled in Perci and she continued to claw her way up. She had just reached a point where she had enough clearing to take flight when a sharp pain in her shoulder blade caused her to lose balance and fall. She hit the ground hard, the arrow embedding deeper into the bone of her wing. With a screech of pain, she tried to stand, only to find herself surrounded by the hunters. She fought and scratched, desperately trying to get free of the ropes that coiled around her. Looking up, she could see the faint silhouettes of her sisters in the sky, their cries echoing through the trees...

      The rest... is a blur of steel bars, teasing voices, and harsh whips. Perci had heard the warnings of these 'zoos' but never expected to be an attraction. For months she endured this prison, angry and scared at what her future could be if she remained here. Finally, freedom came in the form of a drunk villager, who managed to stumble and crash into her cage, loosening the rusted lock. With one swift kick, Perci was free. Her back ached as she took off, for they had not been used for quite some time. They were able to carry her back to a forest before giving. Perci ran as fast as she could for as far as she could. She didn't stop until the sun touched the horizon, and the lights of the town nothing but a memory. Exhausted, she collapsed on the forest floor and looked around her. She had no clue where she was, or where her sisters could be. Perhaps they were looking for her? Perci scrambled up a nearby tree, hoping to get higher up and away from danger. Soon sleep took hold of her, and her last thought before drifting off was her sisters smiling faces when she would find them.

    That was centuries ago. Perci never found her flock and over time developed a liking for solitude. As she watched the world change around her, her fear of the unknown dissipated. New things catch her eye, like the huge square mountains that billow black smoke and the metal beasts that run on black paths. Now she travels the world, witnessing the many different parts of change. She hopes one day to see it all. Every last bit of her world.

    Perci shakes her head, clearing it of the memories that buzzed around. She focused again at the building before her, almost memorized by its aura. She adjusted the bag across her shoulder and squinted at the sign before her wishing her reading skills we a bit better. After some struggling the letters began to make sense to her. "Hiem's Mansion: Enjoy your stay.."
